A super simple fit-and-flare dress I made from crisp white cotton. There are princess seams down the bodice (top) front and a scoop back. It’s also fully lined with an invisible zipper in the back.

To be quite honest with you, the hardest part was keeping the fabric clean, haha. Since I do a lot of fabric cutting on the floor, white is a color I try and stay away from since it’s so easy to get it dirty. But I’m super happy with the result and how clean and sharp it looks, especially with kind of dress. For some reason I feel like Alice in Wonderland when I’m wearing it. I’m thinking it’s the combo of a headband and girly dress?

After a summer of trying more girly and bohemian styles, I’m ready to go back to my usual t-shirt + jeans + leather jacket combo for fall. I’d still like to add a touch of boho and layering this year though. I’m thinking about adding to my collection of scarfs and cardigans. Onto today’s actual outfit, it’s still quite hot outside and why not dress more sporty for a day?
