I had no idea what to title this post (something sporty? burnt orange?) so I went with the name of this crop top I’m wearing and what I wrote in my notes when planning. Just go with it. This style of top fits me really well and they’re so comfy. The color looks maroon in these pictures but it’s really a burnt orange color. Also, I got this jacket from a store called Urban Planet (apparently they’re like the Canadian version of F21) and it looks exactly like the ones from VS PINK, but for way less and without the PINK logo!

Happy Saturday!

I promise I’m wearing shorts underneath this, I promise! I fell in love with this top/tunic/dress so much and knew I HAD to have it the moment I saw it in the store. It’s suppose to be a top but since I’m 5’3″ I thought I could pull it off as a dress. Once I bought it though, I was slightly skeptical because it turned out kinda short to be a dress and I didn’t want people staring at me for the length, but again I’m wearing shorts and I like it, so that’s a good enough excuse to wear it, right? ;)

Summer Casual- Tie Dye and Fringe

I’ve recently been really into halter tops, especially the “Sachi” ones from Brandy Melville. I never thought I would like halters on me because of my very broad shoulders from years of swimming (wouldn’t the thin straps just make them look even wider?); however, they look surprising fine in spesific halter tops. As you can see above, I just have to remember to wear a strapless bra or I will end up with straps that I can’t Photoshop out. I tried, believe me, I tried. Besides, I cannot go braless, it makes me crazy when people do that (not that there’s anything wrong with braless, I just don’t like it on me).

Even though festival season was a long time ago, I really wanted a black fringe kimono and was about to DIY one, but when I saw this one at Cotton On for $10, I just couldn’t pass it up. It does “swallow” me a bit since it’s a size S/M and I’m typically a XS. Nevertheless, it completes the whole look, plus this is as bohemian as my outfits will get.

PS: I have really dark knees.

PPS: Mom, I’m really surprised you let me wear something showing my midriff, let alone post it on the internet.
